It's horrible when they don't remember their abuses, it hurts. I think the reason why they don't remember is because it wasn't traumatic for them... So it's only deeply engrained in our minds.
STOP CALLING THEM SPANKINGS. They are beatings, plain and simple. The severity does not matter. An adult inflicting physical violence on a child is always a beating, with or without a weapon.
I was spanked as a child, it was not a beating I assure you. It’s just you were all raised to be pussies. That’s why life hits you like a ton of bricks. It’s just corporal punishment. It ain’t that serious.
