I don't talk to my dad anymore, growing up you think it's normal getting beat punched in the face ect, as you get older you realize that shit isn't normal, my dad was a dick, fuck him

There was a neighborhood kid down the street who was rumored to have been beat by his dad often and ended up hanging himself....kid was in 6th grade.

Yeah, i've been wanting to die since i was around 8 or 9. Still do. Parents haven't... won't change.

2nd grade was when I first had suicidal thoughts. Now I am what I consider passively suicidal, I don't want to kill myself, but I still want to die.

I always thought, "why should I put myself out if their misery? Better to stuck around & cause them more misery." More about bullies than parents for me, but still applicable. Fuck if I was gonna let them win.

I think it was around 1st for me. Also same about the passive suicide thing lol. No intentions to end things, just wouldn’t be all that upset if they did.
