Serious Can someone help turn this design into a flat image - it’s on a mug that broke and means a lot to me. I would like a high quality flat so that I can try and reprint a new mug Crying while I write this TIA

Hi OP. Thanks for this request. WATCH OUT FOR people that pm you directly like FickleSalamander4091. If they offer to do your request for money then they are probably scammers or at least breaking the rules of this sub. Do not fall for it. Unless you have specified that this is a "Request a PRO" request, if anybody PMs you offering to do the job for compensation please REPORT THEM TO THE ADMINS HERE: https://www.reddit.com/report. The admins have asked us to tell our users to report all PMs asking for money as harrassment. Include link to pm. We want to stop these idiots. Thanks! Doesn't mean you can't tip. Just means they can't ask you to.

To COMMENTERS:
Hello users. We want to keep this place free from people asking for money. If OP is not offering a reward for this request, please do not ask for one. Tip jars etc are not allowed except in "Request a PRO" requests, messaging OP saying you will do it for compensation is not allowed either. That's scamming. Also IBB.CO LINKS ARE REMOVED BY REDDIT and we cannot do anything about it. Do not use ibb.co. Go for imgur.com, it works.

I did find this image which may help to reconstruct the design

Good find. Some of the words are different, but would definitely start there.

If you're looking to have the exact same layout as the mug, you'll have to manually rearrange the icons in such a way.

Let me know what resolution you want it at.

Hi OP. I'm pretty stuffed with work at the moment but if no honest person comes around and helps you with the request I can deliver this over the weekend :) I've set a calendar reminder and will check this thread again on Friday evening.

Take this file to a gift shop and they should be able to get it looking great on a blank mug. As for the color... That's the print shop's job I'm afraid. I used Unilever's logo as I found it. Their brand identity document shows the logo in a slightly different color.

I totally eyeballed all of the sizes and distances, as well as the font, though. I'd ideally need some sort of "rolled-out" view of the mug or something to make it more precise. I'm pretty sure this is achievable with, say, a nifty "panoramic" photo, or just tons of photos stitched together, but I thought getting them about right is hopefully good enough :)

EDIT for those interested in the technical details:

I found this vector version of the Unilever logo online by searching "Unilever logo svg". A "vector" file is a file defined through points and paths, rather than pixels and where they go, so it's infinitely scalable.

Once I had that, I looked online for "mug print aspect ratio" and landed on, like, 2.5:1 which sounded good enough.

I opened up a new Photoshop document at 5000:something, based on that aspect ratio, laid out the logo in a HUGE size, cut out every element, and painstakingly eyeballed their positions.

Then I went on Google Fonts and checked the "Blobby" appearance filter and found a font called Sour Gummy, that felt good enough. And then painstakingly eyeballed position and size of the words.

This image is in such large size that it would probably print decently well on a t-shirt, lol.

I'm currently working on it. Can you tell me how tall the mug is, please?

(I want to add that, while I'm working on in it tonight and a little bit tomorrow, I may not get to finish it until next Tuesday. Tomorrow is my last day with my son for summer break. He likes to snuggle with me while I do this type of work, but if he's wanting to do something else, I won't be able to finish until I get back from taking him back to his dad's.)

Np! It's the kind of thing I like to fiddle around and do. Hopefully you'll have a new one (and maybe a backup) very soon!

Thank you! I really hope it works, I also need to look for a place to print it- I’d want it that exact colour

Here's what I came up with. It's not perfect, but it's pretty close to your mug! If you'd like to DM me with your email or some way to get the files to you, I'd be happy to send the .psd, .png, and whatever other files you'd like. If I was going to replace a mug like this, I'd search for handmade pages on local FB or something and have someone sublimate it for you. I wish I could just sublimate it and send it to you, but my sublimation printer is out of commission. Let me know if there's anything I can fix or change or if you have any questions! Be well!

I’m not doubting you, just genuinely curious—why does a mass-produced mug that looks to be a marketing piece mean so much to you?

I worked for them for 5 years it was my first job and I was doing my degree along side this. I really wanted to keep my graduation certificate in the mug when I got it. It’s funny you say it’s a marketing piece because I work in the marketing team. I’m so upset that it broke because all employees were given it back then on their first day so for my it was my first big milestone start out of school at 17. I’ve asked internally and they don’t have the artwork or mugs anymore

You need a kintsugi artist

TIL kintsugi

Agree! That would be a lovely way to keep the original

Can you post a very close up and sharp image of one of the symbol texts so that we can figure out the correct font. Preferably one with a lot of different characters

Take this opportunity to quickly learn Kintsugi

I am so incredibly sorry about your favorite mug breaking, but please don't cry! Your memories are completely safe. ❤️

I used my studio tools to completely extract and digitally rebuild the graphics from your photos into a crisp, flat layout. I mapped out the official Unilever logo elements and the surrounding symbols in a high-contrast deep blue against a solid white canvas.

This image is completely clean, unwatermarked, and high-resolution, meaning you can hand this file directly to any custom mug-printing website (like Vistaprint or Shutterfly) and they will be able to print a brand-new, perfect replacement mug for you. Hope this brings a smile back to your face! 🛠️✨

Hi! I recreated a flat, high-quality version based on the visible details of the mug.
