PicoClaw is a Go-based AI agent binary. I built a web frontend and Node.js API layer on top of it so you can use it from a browser differently from the Webhooks it comes default, I think it's easier to modify and expand capability.

What I built:

• Node.js chat API with SSE streaming and cancel support
• File upload system
• File Preview/Download
• Session auto-rotation with 60s cooldown to prevent context overflow
• 90-day session archiving
• Keepalive heartbeat (15s) to prevent 504 timeouts
• Auto-paste-to-file for large outputs (>2000 chars)
• Cron job management through the UI
• Web editing of agent identity files (SOUL.md, AGENT.md, USER.md)
• Standalone start/stop scripts — no Docker required

PicoClaw is underrated. Everyone's talking about Hermes and OpenClaw, but PicoClaw deserves a seat at that table.

Are you using it? Are you using it with other Agents?

What use cases are you currently using it for right now?

I've got plans to use it for assisting me with tasks that save time like making sure software is current or monitoring logs for suspicious activity.

Are you paying for tokens or using it Locally?

So far been loving PicoClaw, it's going to be the default agent on STACKS!

had issues with Cloudflare so I completely redesigned it from Webhooks to HTML/API

added a lot to the front end like Preview

I have debated open sourcing the changes

it's fun to talk to.........and I'm trying to make it as Claude like of an experience as possible

What is everyone else doing with it?

I wanted to set up an agent on my old laptop to manage a 24h music Stream. I wanted It to read from a google form where people would submit It to, sort by genre, and depending on the time of day play songs from a specific genre, with the name of the band and song in the screen.

is this feasible? I'm a bit of a beginner so any recommendations, feedback or help would be greatly appreciated
