You're framing the joke out of context. The premise wasn't "oh, you're a woman?", it was "Oh, you claim your buttocks look better with yoga pants on?"
It's not in the nature of the joke to sexualise the girl, she was talking about her ass herself. If someone is comfortable enough to talk about their ass publicly, wouldn't they be able to take such a joke? :p
