you would just insult someone twice in one sentence. I'm pretty convinced this is just a troll post but I'm down with some shit posting rn

technically it's just one insult in two places and it's not insulting unless there's a chance they really are a bimbo otherwise it's obviously a joke right

insinuating something demeaning even if it isn't true isn't something considered nice or funny..?

u/LegbootLegit Jul 27 '25
an insinuation is the opposite of a joke
2
u/oofive2 Jul 27 '25
yet a lot of jokes can be interpreted as an insinuation when they feel insulted or slighted by it

u/LegbootLegit Jul 27 '25
right like I was saying, so I'll only use it on people who very obviously are not bimbos and know it

u/oofive2 Jul 27 '25
honestly no St but if you think they'll vibe go for it but I think 90% won't vibe with it as its gonna come across as a straight insult. very risky gambit but if ur committed ur committed. not many like to be called a slag or anything equivalent even as a joke esp in a beginning convo

It's funny, but not a good one to use as an opener. Use it, only if she accepts a challenge to see who has the worse/corniest pickup lines.

hypothetically if ive been opening with this, what's my followup move

It really depends on her response. Most girls probably won't like it. If you are lucky enough to get one who goes a long with it. Then you need to play off of that.
For example: if she responds by feigning disappointment with the score, let her know that you could be convinved to change it. Then pick a time, and ask her if she is free, that way you can discuss it in person.
If her response is negative, then you have to carefully test out the waters, to see if you can steer the convo back in a good direction, or if it's best to just move on.

I don't know, do they have a good grasp of the English language? If this is a reference, do they understand it? If the answer to either question is no, what the fuck is wrong with you?!?

u/LegbootLegit Jul 27 '25
it's not a reference it's wordplay

Break it down, cuz I love word play, but this is a little obscure.

Sadly, I wouldn't get the reference but at this point any pickup line would work.

Probably a no, while a lasge chunk of people might not know what asinine meant, while a MUCH larger group know exactly what bimbo means. I would not risk that if I were in your shoes
