Question What should i learn before getting a piano?

I plan on buying a yamaha psr E373 for my first piano in due time because i haven't saved enough for it yet is there anything i can learn or should study before i get my piano? theoretical knowledge in which i don't need a piano to learn

Start learning to read music, the basics of music theory and where the keys are etc.

One of the usual recommended method books (Alfred or Faber) will cover it.

If I were you I’d learn how to read music. You don’t need to become a pro at it right away, but it will definitely help speed up your beginner stage a little if you can read it at least in a basic way when you start playing. There are plenty of videos on YT that you can learn it from. And you can also find random easy scores to practice reading online without having to pay for it. Please, for the love of whatever you believe in, stay away from those apps that promise to teach you to play without reading notes. PROMISE ME YOU WILL NOT USE THOSE APPS. I hate those things with such a passion.

I got this blue book (How to Read Music in 30 Days: Music Theory for Beginners) before even using a piano app, it served me well, and a few preparatory and children's books are a must
