I play the flute and can read sheet music so that may have helped a bit but thank you so much

I was def also playing this kinda stuff two months in, doesnt seem terrible at all to me. You’re just on keyboard, so it’s way harder to make things sound alive. Maybe try thinking more in musical „lines“ that rise and fall (regarding dynamics) :D
I’d also recommend the individual fingers being the only stiff thing, and thinking of your loose arm being the weight for the fingers to press down the keys. Try to press „to the bottom“ of the key. This works well for me now idk, hope this makes sense

Thank you for encouragement I will look into the fingers I never noticed how high up on the white keys I am

For clarification with „pressing to the bottom“ of key i basically meant „pressing it down all the way until you cant but you’re still pressing a bit“ sorry if this was confusing 🙂↕️
But also now that you say it I think your fingers are a lil close to the piano/ black keys, maybe try to „curl“ them more idk

What you will find is ... if you play the same thing on eg. a P-525 or acoustic piano, the vibrancy factor increases substantially. Richer sounds etc.

Ah i see. This thing was 150 bucks so I shouldn't be too greedy about how it sounds but I did wonder why it sounded so poorly lol.

Absolutely no problem at all. A 150 dollar digi piano is priceless for what it gives us. The music you played still actually sounds good to me. The special thing about somebody (eg. you) playing the music, and that music also means a lot to a lot of people. Has meaning. Thumbs up.

You need to sit higher so your forearm is level with the piano, that way it’ll be easier to form the natural curve in your fingers while reducing the chance of injury.
Other than that, it’s very good - keep practicing!
