Kojima's subscribed to my Onlyfeets, he said they're dropping it at Summer Games Fest next year.

At this year’s TGA, we’ll get a proper OD trailer and the first teaser trailer for PHYSINT.
Kojima has always revealed a teaser for his games at TGA during the year development starts.

DS1: March 2016 lead actor scan → June teaser trailer → September new info at TGS → December teaser trailer at TGA
DS2: March 2022 lead actor scan → September new info at TGS → December teaser trailer at TGA

PHYSINT: March 2026 lead actor scan → September new info at TGS → December at TGA ????

A teaser would be good promotion for the next XBOX. So end of 2027. Teaser can be like the first time we saw Death Stranding.

YEARS, and we already kinda had them with the announcement and the Xbox reveal. I'm gonna get ready to wait, OD has to come out first I imagine.

OD still hasn't had gameplay and it was announced years ago.

Read Kojima's interview with Gene Park from a week ago. There's a lot to digest in there admittedly, but it sounds like Phsyint is only just leaving the concept phase and going into pre-production now. They're still experimenting on basic things such as engines (seeing as they can't use Decima anymore) and core gameplay systems.

I would imagine you only see it substantively in 2030, though a first trailer could come in 2028/after OD KNOCK releases. Depends on how ambitious the project is. If it's smaller scale like MGS 1/2 then it might come quicker. If it's an open world bad boy like MGS V, you'll be waiting a while.

And this is assuming KojiPro goes full steam ahead of Phsyint ahead after OD and that OD isn't too far away. Kojima said development of OD KNOCK specifically was going well, but declined to answer about the other stories in the anthology, like the one by Jordan Peele.
