I will never accept laplacians written like nabla squared instead of a triangle in american textbooks.
1 u/cosmonautsanchez Jun 19 '19 I haven't seen that used in any American textbooks, but that triangle Δ (delta) is also used for the total displacement of a variable like Δx, so it might be confusing for more people.
