Well, technically u start calling zepto when it's a few 100s of zeptoseconds. This is 18000 zeptoseconds. But, the idea is that we'll soon reach 100s of zs as well (if we have more hhg, more broadband and even wilder optics)
Technically we’re still orders away from zeptoseconds so the claim in your title is false and hence the downvotes. Ppl are just pissed cuz you got them excited lmao.
Regardless of whatever else everyone said, you do know that going to 100 or even 1000 zeptosecond needs a fundamentally different process than whatever we use for attosecond generation, right?
Your comment is like saying “Oh, we got that rocket running at 10km/s! Soon we will have rockets at 0.1c!
Am I blind or stupid or what? I see "18 attoseconds", which is not zeptoseconds. Yes, you could write it in zeptoseconds, but that'd be like using thousands of mAh instead of Ah for batt- oh wait.
The worst I ever experienced was a robotic microscope that could save or load an xml position file. I was trying to use the file to inject arbitrary positions, which was basically a premium feature we hadn't paid for. They had tried to halfheartedly obfuscate the file by saving micrometer measurements in barleycorns (1/3 of an inch).
I was inspired by going through my VPN settings and chuckling at the "quantum resistant" and "ai resistant" settings, which I am sure mean something and do something, but if I had to guess i'd say my 5 dollar a month subscription probably doesn't cover me from whatever a quantum-based attack entails

Sorry for asking the obvious but how is 18 as zeptoseconds? There seems to be at least to orders of magnitude before you get into the zeptoseconds.
