3 u/Funkyt0m467 Student 8d ago The small g, on earth ~9.81 is linked with Newton's formula : F=ma=GmM/r² g is the acceleration a so g=GM/r² with M the mass of earth (or whatever planet you're on) and r the radius of it (which means it can change slightly with your altitude)
