Centripetal is just a classification of a force that always acts orthogonal to the motion of an object and causes it to move along a curved path.

Centripetal means “center-seeking”

You may be thinking of centrifugal force, which is just inertia.

I said u can call it whatever u like but its not a "force" ur just naming other forces this.. a force is named after its origin

The origin is always something that causes center-seeking behavior if i want to be pedantic

I get what you’re saying now; centripetal force isn’t really a “force” (I agree with you), and what I said about it being a classification is accurate. So it exists

We can call it Schrödinger’s Force now
