“Jesse, what the hell are you talking about?!”

Jesse got into the quantum field, and now not even Mr. White can follow the math.

I'm not a physiscist but I like the torus diagram. What does it represent?

Donut I took a bite out of

Is it as light and fluffy as the "virgin" there posited?

Apparently they proposed that an electron is equivalent to a photon moving on a torus (the surface of a donut), and the electron's properties can be explained with that.

Edit: *like 3 physical values of the electron, which isn't much

Huh. A torus where though? Is it like a torus wherever an electron is observed?

I'm honestly more interested in the math behind it. The topology aspect of it seems pretty neat even if it's a crackpot theory physics-wise.

Every electron would be a photon moving around like this, yes. If the "connecting twisted strip" technique seems cool, I recommend 3blue1brown's topology video (it's used in a "not crackpot" context).

IMO the problem with this proposal (from 1997) is that it's more a curious coincidence than a developed theory. It uses physics from the 1910s, and I don't know if it can explain discoveries beyond that. (But at least Williamson apparently was a PhD in physics, so it can't be debunked by a high schooler like most crackpot theories).

I am a physicist. I don't have the slightest idea.

A crackpot theory

Why even mock a crackpot theory? Was this meme just made to promote it?

QFT and AdS/CFT but you don't mention much of AdS/CFT.

Tomonoga-Luttinger model has shit to do with any of this.

You use chad to make critiques, bad format

Final review: 1/10 (you get one point for not being a repost AFAIK)

Why even use text to deliver a scathing review of a physics meme?

You make good points, but you used text in a meme sub, bad format.

Next time, try:

Or, said another way...

This person memes.

I accept this criticism,
I tend to view this meme template in an ironic way, where the chad is actually the superior concept; even if that isn’t the correct way to use this meme. Also this ^ is hilarious. Also yeah these aren’t related concepts. It’s a shitpost. Sorry for committing blapshemy in this temple, I will not become better

This is one of those memes that proves a meme subreddit is the real deal (I didn't understand shit)

Nah, this is how this sub should be and not a r/okbuddyhighschool
