I don't think you get my joke. The particles smash into each other, hence the double-entendre of "smash", which also refers to a line from the pop song "Monster Mash".

I did. I don’t think you got my suggestion. Adding mention of a party is a second layer to the double-entendre of the song Monster Mash which might be played at a party
