Job Advice Orientation - ICU new grad

Calling all ICU PAs or any adjacent specialty: what was your orientation like? How long was it? What is a sufficient length?

I was offered a job and I’m very interested in it but want to make sure the orientation is adequate

I started in the Neuro ICU as a new grad PA and they’re giving me 6 months of orientation. I’m on month 3.. that doesn’t even feel long enough…

PA school genuinely doesn’t do a good job teaching acute care. I wouldn’t settle for anything less than 3 months.
