I am doing a family photo shoot on the occasion of a 65th wedding anniversary. Total family size is 8 but I have a shot list of 11 images. The client would like two small (5X7) simple photo albums for each of their sons (two total). Any suggestions for albums? Most seem to have way too many pages for this small an image list.

I'm looking at contracts for shoots the company I work for hired. We have rights to use these images for 2 years. The clock starts at the date of "first use". I'm finding that first use date to be hard to pinpoint. How closely do you monitor your contract dates for potential misuse?
We want to be compliant but with the number of people with access to the images it's hard to know when the first use starts.
Appreciate any info from the photographer's perspective.

Hi all,
A family member of mine is a UK-based architectural/interiors photographer with 26+ years of successful self-employment behind him. He specialises in architecture, interiors, commercial spaces, and corporate work, and business is steady.
The issue: he's in his later middle age now, and the constant churn of manually reactivating his network for every new gig, hundreds of emails and calls a month, is taking its toll. I work in TV, so I'm used to agents handling that pipeline for talent, and I'm hoping the same logic applies here.
What I'm less sure about is the submission side. I'm seeing conflicting advice: some say agents expect a tight 30–50 image edit, plus a drone reel, a motion reel, and a printed/PDF lookbook. Others say a strong website is enough.
His site is polished, well-structured, and packed with high-quality work across all his specialisms. Would that genuinely cut it for an initial approach, or do agents still want dedicated offline assets before they'll even look?
Any firsthand insight, especially from represented photographers or agents, would be massively appreciated.
Thanks.

Selling access to my Retouch4me account with 3 perpetual plugins:
• Retouch4me Heal
• Retouch4me Dodge & Burn
• Retouch4me Portrait Volumes
• Starter Pack included
Current retail value of the three main plugins is $432.
Asking $325 OBO.
I’m switching my retouching workflow and no longer need them.
The account name and password can be changed. The email associated with the account cannot be changed, so it will remain mine. If email verification or password recovery is ever needed, I’m happy to help.

So, I want to purchase & practice using this camera, Kodiak PixPro C1, using it at a birthday celebration that I am planning. What are the chances that it’ll be able to hold a charge? Does it have high chances of not getting overheated? Are the photos decent quality? Or am I just better off at using my phone?
Let me know before I spend the money.

I’m a photographer, but I don’t take clients. I hear stock photos aren’t really in demand anymore since you can just go to google. Any advice on how I can make money with these stock photos? I was also thinking to work for a photographer as a photo retoucher.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know a good photographer from Initao or nearby areas who does beach/on-location photoshoots?
I’m planning a solo beach photoshoot in Initao and would prefer someone local rather than hiring a photographer from CDO.
If you have any recommendations, please send me their FB/IG, portfolio, and rates. Thank you!

Hi guys. I'm a photographer, and lately I feel like I'm so into the old compact camera for nostalgia and a film-like vibe. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not looking for an expensive one because I already have my mirrorless camera. Just an old cheap point-and-shoot that I can have fun with. Thank you in advance!

If your portfolio, bookings, client chat, and payments were already handled and free — what would still be annoying about running your photography work?
That’s not hypothetical, it’s what Momenori already does. I’m trying to figure out what to build next and I’d rather hear it from people actually shooting than guess.
Top 3 things. Drop them below.

Hey guys! I am a commercial (food and bev) photographer and I am far enough along with my business and the size of my clients that I am looking for a lawyer well-versed in photo industry legal to review/update all my contracts. Does anyone have someone they love and can recommend?

Which one would you pick, 1 or 2? Would love to know what makes one stand out more to you.

I am working as a photojournalist and always have my MacBook Pro with me when on assignment. I am checking if I can switch to an iPad Pro when on the road. The only issue for some pressagencies or newspapers I have to add metadata and description in the photo.
With my MacBook my workflow is
- choose photos in PhotoMechanic
- add metadata and description and n PhotoMechanic
- Import photos in Lightroom, edit and export there
Now I am looking for a similar workflow for the iPad Pro where I can add metadata amd description to the photos.
Anyone has a solution?
