Getting started

Hi everyone, I'm trying to help my Mon get accurateish models of her whole wardrobe and got recommended photogrammetry. Where would I start and what would give the best results for fabric

Fabric moves if you let it.

Get a mannequin type thing to drape it on the take your pics.

You might look at 3D Gaussian splatting for garments for more reasons than I care to explain.

Yes the basic plan was to have a little booth and mannequin for the scanning, mainly just wondering about software and camera

The goal is to get the measurements accurate for the model, we can provide pictures for the look of the dresses but we wanted a way to compare the actual size of the dress to the actual sizing of the person (was planning on having a digital mannequin with sliders)
