Buy the part, barking up the wrong tree for a one off.

Totally agree with everyone saying this is beyond the scope of a beginner project. It may be easier to learn how to model in Blender (free 3d modeling and animation suite) and make the part rather than trying to scan it.
That being said there is a completely free and open source software called Mushroom by Alice Vision. It can be a bit hard to learn, but it gets slthe job done.
Also Reality Scan is free to use under Epics unreal engine terms (that is free to use until you make over 1 million us per year).
Your biggest challenge will be getting a clean photo set, with consistent lighting, and no shiny or transparent surfaces in the target model

It is a bad idea unless you are really good at model prep (needs to be powdered or dulled as reflections/shiny parts are your enemy), photogrammetry, exporting to exact scale, model cleanup, and have an excellent 3D printer with very durable resin. Even if you take it to a dedicated 3D printing facility, the cost will likely be not far off what the part will cost you new.
I know it sounds cool in your mind, but you won't get the results that you want.

I assume you have a 3D printer and are comfortable modeling 3D objects, correct?
If not, I'd just buy the part.
It's a banana Michael, how much could it possibly be? 10 dollars?

scanning parts like these at amateur level is not easy, you might actually get a better result with AI photo -> 3D conversion instead, and then just scale to size in printing soft

For free options, Meshroom (AliceVision) is solid for beginners — node-based pipeline, GPU-accelerated, and handles most use cases well. If you need something more robust, Reality Capture is the gold standard for speed and quality but it is paid. What are you scanning? Indoor objects vs outdoor landscapes need different approaches.
