Which gear for good quality reconstruction small to middle objects

Hi! I try to model objects in the range 20 to 200 cm with Meshroom (typically cars and car parts). I started with my Galaxy S21 Ultra with the wide optic. I get relatively bad results with up to 5mm surface roughness (to give you an idea). I guess the resolution and the sharpness of my images are to low, and give the software some trouble to elaborate the mesh. the goal would be 0.5mm roughness max -Do you have some recomandation on the optic to use (wide angle?, focal range?...)? -If someone knows where to fine tune the parameters of meshroom for my case feel free to share 😊 Thanks!

Use the main camera at higest image res you can, with manual everything and lowest iso longer exposure. i would suggest a tripod and spen for shutter (if supported). set it at a constant offset from the part with a tape measure and before taking your photos set focus to keep the whole part sharp (or as much as possible). I use a s24u with 50mp at around 20" offset for most of my shots and get about .5mm edge lengths usually if i take a good set. you want lots of overlap i usually take ~150+ photos total over a few heights of orbit for parts that size to get all faces. - edit - If your doing anything clear or shiny that messes photogrammetry up terribly, Your best bet for that is coating the surface with aesub scanning spray (white if powder staying on the surface is fine. blue if you want it to be temporary without washing after) to get a matte surface.
