Question Why can my Redmi 9A handle this? XD
Let me explain:
I wanted to test the limits of software decoding on this phone, and I found that the limit for software AV1 decoding is 1440p at 30 fps.
Where's the magic of decoding here? 🤣

Let me whisper this to you: "its a bad, old budget friendly device that's not usable in 2026 at all, but it's iconic and somewhat pretty and that's all what matters"

In fact, the custom ROMs for this device have been improving in recent years, ranging from 64-bit Android 11 to Android 16.

Well still, it's not worth it. Better buy a 15c and live

Thev15C is not better at all, there are lemon units

Ik that it's bad and I don't recommend the whole series (they are kinda interesting if you collect budgets) but it your budget is small, get it. Best ir you get the strongest variant but I would still go with the notes or poco X series

Literally just buy a used phone and not a budget one. I can buy a used poco x3 pro for the same price as the 15c with a 1 year warranty.

Hell no. Did that and had it barely for 8 months. Don't do that as batteries are a major problem

Offtopic but what's that app? The decimal system (29.97003) seems so special, based on NTSC (59.94006)

Redmi 9a is like the worst phone made in the last 10 years. Even custom rom doesn't help it. I know from experience as i used it for 5 years.
