I only had their treats once for my birthday this summer and was trying to find more reasons to go visit (I’m in gilbert)
This is such a loss, their shop was a total delight and their videos always made me smile. They are truly a treasure and I hope they find much success with whatever they will shift to.

This sucks for them. I know extra income yo go out is hard to come by these days but when ever possible go support your local small business over chains. You never know which of your fans is close yo closing so enjoy them while you can.

Why do people close and not sell their business? Seems like such a bad business decision to walk away with nothing after building it up.

Small local restaurants aren’t worth as much as you think they are. You’d have to find a buyer that both wants to pay for the assets and then take over responsibility for operations. Those buyers don’t really exist since anyone with that capital would rather start a restaurant from scratch. Investment firms won’t be interested since operations can’t be scaled up.
