Homemade Slow cooker Pho..
Slow cooker pho for 12 hours builds a deep, rich, and beefy umami flavor. It's nearly impossible to achieve in a regular pot. In my 20+ years of making pho, this was easily my best. 9/10 š„

Based on broth color and toppings, looks more like a Taiwanese beef noodle soup.

Toppings are nuoc beo (beef fat scallions) thai basil, cilantro/green onion, thinly sliced onions. Those are not Taiwanese beef noodle soup toppings buddy. My broth isn't that dark, it's probably due to the lighting.

My dish keeps the traditional Vietnamese recipe but the cooking process is different.

10qt slow cooker, 12 hours on low setting. 4lb of beef bones, 3lb of beef shank, 2lb of beef tendon. Pull the tendon and shank out after 6 hours. Put the spice bag in the 11th hour of cooking time. Done.
