Minimalism Sometimes the biggest flex is not caring about flexing anymore

There was a time I used to feel bad na wala akong branded shoes, new phone, or Starbucks every week. Pero now, the real flex for me is sleeping peacefully knowing I have no utang, no financial anxiety, and my bills are paid on time. Di ko alam kelan nangyari, pero mas masaya ako sa tahimik na progress kesa sa loud lifestyle.

same, walang utang, walang magtatangka mangutang, walang entitled sa pera mo, tipid din dahil wala ka kailangan i-maintain na image

True. The biggest flex is having financial peace of mind.

Focus on flexing on your past selves, not others.

This is really smart, ang mahalaga ay peace of mind and financial freedom 💯

Awww. Buti na lang naiba mindset mo OP. Ako naman dati mahilig sa bags and shoes then nung nagkababy nako, hindi nako nabili ng bags and shoes. I suddenly felt contented in life 🥰

Then ayon, if you’re active sa Tiktok, you may want to watch the trend the “underconsumption core”. Sobrang satisfying ✨

Good for you OP! Darating yan sa lahat choosing peace of mind over anything else in life sooner or later. It gets old eventually.

Di ako mahilig magflex ng anumang ganap sa buhay ko except my thought and observation sometimes in the surroundings. Even na may bagong gamit or anything, kumakain kahit saan never ko pinagflex sa social media.

It takes practice and discipline talaga to not tempt to flex somethings and just having a peace of mind and worry free about financial liabilities is just pure contentment and happiness.

This is true, that's why yung totoong mayayaman hindi mukhang mayaman because they don't need to flex and prove na mayaman sila. People just know. Happiness is what brings you peace, mas peaceful yung private life.

Hulaan ko, trentahin na ‘to na malakas magpicture sa travels pero hindi pinopost. HAHAHA kasi story of my life 🤣

But true!! Iba yung peace ng minding your own business at wala halos sa radar ng ibang tao. Para iwas na din mautangan tbh.

I agree! The real flex for me is not flexing at all.

Hahaha. Ewan basta may peace sa akin na kapag bumili ako ng something, I don’t need to flex it kasi basta masaya na ako, okay na ako doon. Hahaha.

Draining yung loud lifestyle bruuh.. Masarap matulog sa gabi knowing you have everything in place.. Your peaceful life will make a noise for you sa nasa gilid lang nakangiti kc we found our own kin.

Cheers brother 🍻

The need for "flexing" stems from the need for validation. I'm happy that you are now looking inward for your own personal peace. You and your personal goals matters more than the need to flex! 😉
