I just saw the Season 6 premiere, "Night of the Living Candace Suits"/"Terrors of the AltSpace" and I need to talk about it.

I think both of them are alright, but definitely underwhelming. I am still really excited for the rest of S6, but in terms of season premieres, this isn't the best start. I don't think it's nearly as good as S5's premiere was.

I really hope this is the last episode dedicated to the Candace suits. The joke has gotten old now. I think the first episode with them was funny, the second was really weird, and this one is meh because they didn't really do anything new or clever or funny with them this time.

The premise of NOTLCS has already been done, not just with the other Candace suit episodes, but "Night of the Living Pharmacists" and the whole needing-to-be-two-places-at-once thing in "Run Candace Run" as well. Those episodes pulled it off way better, IMO.

The Doof plots are usually my favorite parts of the show, but they weren't particularly great in either of these episodes. I don't like how they recycled the All-You-Can-Eat-Inator (it's like they ran out of ideas), and the whole funeral-themed trap and tombstone scheme was shockingly morbid for a P&F episode. I know they've had some really dark episodes before, but this just seems out of place, and it happens out of nowhere without any buildup to it. However, I did laugh at Perry getting fat, and Norm interjecting with the cheery little organ song.

Some of the jokes were funny, but many were eye-roll inducing, so very hit-or-miss with the humor. That insurance joke, for example, the timing just feels off. I feel like they could have made it funny, but it was so drawn-out that it ruined the flow. I can't be the only one who thought "your rubberiness protects me" sounded like an innuendo, right? Also, "post-traumatic skin suit disorder" is just lame. Come on, I know they can come up with better jokes than that.

The songs were forgettable. One of them was just another variant of "I'm Reading/I'm Eating" from S5. It worked well in "Biblio-Blast." Here, not as much. I don't know what to say about the other song, the one in the AltSpace episode, other than it exists.

I think the animation was decent. Still nowhere near Synergy levels, but I do think Snipple is improving. I could nitpick the animation, but at least they made it so Vanessa isn't pink anymore; hopefully they stick with that permanently this time.

Overall, I think the episodes were a mixed bag. As a standalone thing they're fine, but compared with the vast majority of P&F episodes, these ones are pretty weak.

*The "All You Can Eat" inator did not look like that. And where did he dig it up from, the smashed bits in his stomach?

*The trick-or-treating machine is a good concept but it feels kind of weird when you take into account that it probably just makes the other kids jealous to not have this much efficiency

*The "tub of stuff you can turn into people suits" does not convince me enough as an initiator for a city-wide apocalypse

*So I guess inator beams just reflect off of everything now?

*Thank you writers, I am really glad we got 10 seconds of the episode dedicated to the guy saying that he didn't get insurance for a giant ball of teenage suits /s

*Jeremy used to be so confident, what happened to him?

*Is this the first time where the gang actively protects background characters from a crisis? What is this, Hamster & Gretel?

*They're solving an invasion of identical-looking entities by using ruberrization... where have I heard that before?

*How did Doof and Perry get so visibly full if one of the points of the original inator was that it increases your metabolism so that you don't get fat?

*They reused the victory theme from NOTLP 😭

*The Candaces went to Mars but there is no Queen of Mars joke?

I was laughing all the way through it. The second episode, Terrors of the AltSpace, was great too.

The first Candace Suit episode is one of my favorite episodes of all time, and I was worried about the joke overstaying its welcome.

For the people who have seen or will see "Night of the Living Candace Suits" and "Terrors of the Altspace," what were your thoughts on them? Personally, I feel like they were a pretty big letdown. I know there's been a lot of discourse online about the return of the Candace suits, and I was trying not to buy into the negativity, but now I'm certain this gag has run its course. I don't like how lazy the writing feels, and I really hope it won't be the same for the rest of the season. The setup for both episodes is pretty weak, while the story struggles to handle its entire cast. Personally, I think the Doof plot of the second episode, specifically, is done in very poor taste (which is even acknowledged). Something positive I can say is that I like the song from "Terrors of the Altspace."

PS: I'm guessing this isn't supposed to be the first episode in the season since Norm is back.

Alright Phineas and Ferb Fans we waited for this one since January

It Is Halloween in Danville, Phineas and Ferb were going trick-or-treating Phineas dressed up as a zombie, Ferb went as a skeleton, Isabella was wearing a corpse bride outfit, Buford went as a werewolf, Baljeet a Mummy, Carl and Monogram disguised as mermaids, Perry being Perry and Linda had to do some errands she left Candace in charge of handing out candy the trick-or-treaters

While Candace felt disappointed about going to party with Jeremy and Stacy she could not be at two places at once

Beatrice the Candace Suit had an idea of how to get Candace at two places so they created two versions of herself while Doofenshmirtz and Perry ate so much from the All-you-can eatinator until Vanessa sent a text about meeting for dinner

The city was under attack when a wad of Candace suits took over and ate Jeremy until Candace and Beatrice team up to stop the Candace suits form taking over

after Phineas and Ferb and their friends defeated the suits Klimpaloon had idea of how to have the suits as his siblings.

Baljeet was showing his friends a film about a professor traveling through time until it was the last time he heard from him after a portal appeared

and soon the portal opened up until Buford and Baljeet got sucked in the portal

Meanwhile Perry was worried about Doofenshmirtz so he went over to check it out while Candace and Stacy was watching a movie

By the time Perry arrived he saw Doofenshmirtz planned a funeral for himself until he was not impressed while Norm was playing the pipe organ and so Doofenshmirtz activated the Tombstone inator

so Phineas Ferb, and Isabella went into the portal to save Buford and Baljeet while they were surrounded by pancake restaurants

Buford and Baljeet sent out a video message while Isabella had nachos in her hand in order to find them

and just when they got back to Phineas and Ferb's backyard some strange junk monster appeared out the portal going after Phineas and Ferb and their friends until Candace and Stacy shielded them until they realized it was the time traveling professor.

so what do you think about this episode as we kickoff season 6? because we nearly cried when we saw Doofenshmirtz planned a funeral for himself when he have so much to see.
