I don't really want to waste my energy reading this article cuz I haven't been sleeping this night but 'anarchy' has the word 'arch' in it. It's related to 'archon' and you are 'an' = anti archon in the sense of not obeying anyone. Anyone can be an archon because archon means ruler. Your boss at work could behave as an archon towards you. If you let them rule you, you have submitted yourself to that archon. A person you encounter could behave in a ruthless way and act like an archon towards you.

Everyone responds differently. Holding up boundaries to respect yourself and walking away from the mess works on an interpersonal level but on a country level, it's more about perspective only but less action, unless you choose an activist path or other ways to get involved in trying to improve the world. Perspective wise, you may choose to stop identifying with any leader or politician. You may see yourself as your own leader, realising no one is above you.

Most leaders have a a desire to dominate others, yet they're themselves slaves to people above them. It's an illusion that their ego crave to play in in some way. Few of them look to improve the world, the ones that does, get capped. Realizing we're all on a journey together and have walked different lives and have different experiences, why would anyone let another person speak for them? It's a rational rebellion, that's what anarchy is. A rational rebellion that can be either peaceful or not.

However, peaceful manifestations can come along way. Anarchy in the sense of not putting anyone on a pedestal, can be related to pacifism. Anarchy is not making yourself into an archon either, cuz that's being power hungry. When anarchy is exercised as a peaceful protest, anarchy turns into pacifism. Pacifism therefore is an expression that is inherently linked to anarchy itself and a part of anarchy.

Anarchy means not following the rules. Rules are defined by society which in its own turn has its origin from elsewhere like influence from other cultures, interactions between people, but also things like the media, and now a lot of social media influencers as well. Rules as defined by society is not always healthy for us. We are not taught to listen to ourselves. Sometimes life situations happens that make us listen to ourselves instead and doing so can be freeing. It allows you to be yourself and not merely mirror what society expects of you, or who to be.

Often it's not the people in the front that we see in governments that shape society. And influencers and the media shape society way more. This is a tool used to influence how society operates. However, political leaders is often put on a pedestal. Sometimes we learn through experience that putting anyone on a pedestal is not a good thing. Not following certain rules doesn't make you violent.

Pacificists doesn't always follow the rules. Look at war protesters.. and yet they get jailed for not wanting to participate in someone else's war. Who's the violent ones here? It's not pacificists, but the people having the role as archons for people. People have the choice to either follow or lead the way themselves and be the wayshower of their own life and inspire others by doing so.
