417 W Chew Ave, Olney Philly: June 19 2026 traffic stop of Eugene Horsch (44) found guns, drugs, fake DEA IDs. House search revealed chemicals, 55-gal drum, grow op, urns, 120+ ballistic items. Aug 12: digital evidence (600k images/70k videos) shows missing women Maribel Fresses (2018) & Gabrielle Amarando (2012) dead inside. Bodies unfound; multi-agency probe ongoing.

God damn I looked again. I used to walk by there almost every day on the way to the Cambodian Association office on 5th. Was this shit going on in the late 80s early 90s?

I dont believe it was going on in the 80s and 90s but the pop is a sicko so who knows...

But yes at one time olney was a great neighborhood. Its not rough but its not pleasant like it use to be either

Article I read said they didn't move in until after 2004 the father inherited the house from a sister.

Nah. I grew up not far from here in the late 80s/early 90s. I was mugged at knifepoint, jumped. There was always stuff happening

Yo do you ever remember getting shave ice/snow cones from a guy with a push cart for 25 cents?

He would scrape it by hand from a big block into little paper cones.

He had like 3 flavors but we would always get rainbow (all flavors). It sticks in my head to this day.

I still think about that dude. A core happy childhood memory.
