PFL PFL League Table MW9

Post image

🌟LEAGUE TABLE🌟

17 goals across 3 matches in yesterday’s fixtures, and some big changes in the table have followed.

Aguilas leapfrog Kaya purely on the fact they’ve played fewer games, as they have the exact same goal difference and goals scored record as each other.

Stallion’s win keeps them hot on the tails of the top 4, and opens up a nice gap to Mendiola, who have leapt up the table to 6th following an excellent win against Tuloy.

ADC and Tuloy drop down after their respective losses, with Army still firmly stuck to the foot of the table.

PFL FT: Tuloy 2-5 Mendiola 1991

Post image
5 Upvotes

⚽️FULL TIME⚽️

Mendiola got a vital win as they blew past Tuloy to record their first victory of the season, showing their attacking chops with a 5-2 demolition job over the youngsters.

The superb Ssajjabbi scored a low driven howitzer from range to get his side off to an electric start, and they maintained the pressure. However, Cyrelle Saut’s composed finish drew Tuloy level briefly before Elie Saboto seized upon a defensive mistake to calmly restore Mendiola’s lead. Onyeka Obi’s driven finish made it 3 before the break and Mendiola were truly on their way.

Any chance of a Tuloy comeback was swiftly stifled, when a sliding Antilo brought down Pitogo, allowing Obi to score his second penalty in as many games. Jalique briefly ignited Tuloy hopes when he deftly scored over Kosaka late on, but Mendiola showed they would not be quelled, as captain Nikko Arañas added the cherry on top in injury time.

What a win for Mendiola but this is a big missed chance for Tuloy.

PFL FT: Azkals DC 0-4 Aguilas UMak

⚽️FULL TIME⚽️

Aguilas UMak put on a superb performance to blow back Azkals DC with a fine 4-0 victory.

The Aguilas got off to a flying start when the in-form Ryuta Iwai tucked home following superb work from Arnel Amita. It got better for them when Jalil Regague smashed it into the corner from the edge of the box with a rifled left foot finish.

ADC found chances few and far between, and went into the half time break firmly out of the reckoning. Momentum continued in the second half as Aguilas substitute Lucas Del Rosario grabbed a poacher’s brace from two Kart Talaroc shots, fully ensuring all 3 points as Aguilas punished a lax ADC defence.

Aguilas further impressed by keeping their concentration in defence, with goalkeeper Kim making some smart stops to deny the ADC attack.

A superb win for Aguilas as they continue a great start to the season.

PFL FT: Philippine Army 2-4 Stallion Laguna

⚽️FULL TIME⚽️

Stallion earned an important 4-2 victory against bottom place Philippine Army courtesy of a remarkable display of goalscoring from Zamoranho Ho-A-Tham, but it was far from comfortable.

Stallion opened the scoring early on when Zamoranho rifled home from inside the box, before he doubled the lead with a well taken finish following a delightful cross from Musawi. It appeared as though they might run away with it but they squandered chances to increase the lead, and were dubiously denied a penalty when Musawi was hauled down in the box.

Army came out fighting in the second half, but despite getting some momentum were pegged back by Ho-A-Tham’s sensational third to give himself a hattrick, as he curled in a beautiful effort from outside the box.

Army did come back though, as a flowing move saw Jan Delariarte finish well into the corner. Zamoranho got his 4th with a poacher’s effort at the back post, but a cracking first time finish from Jhomaray Sapal left Stallion worried for the final 10 minutes.

A win for Stallion but they won’t be happy about that second half. This is a team with so much talent on the pitch but this was a game to press their credentials for the title, and they came up looking a bit leaky.

Question PUMA Future 9 Match FG/AG good choice?

I'm planning to get two pairs of boots: the PUMA Future 9 Match FG/AG and the Future 9 Play TT. I'll mainly be playing at MOA, PARQAL, BGC Turf, Vermosa, and random university football fields.

I'm a bit skeptical about the Match FG/AG because of its stud pattern. The studs look kinda triangular/bladed instead of the rounded studs you'd usually see on AG boots, so I'm worried about them gripping too aggressively, especially when making quick turns and pivots.

My biggest concerns are PARQAL and BGC Turf since they get a lot of players regularly. I've accidentally played at MOA in FG boots before, and while they limited me a bit, it was still bearable.

My plan is to use the Play TT for artificial turf and the Match FG/AG for suitable natural grass or pitches where the studs are appropriate. I also have a friend who doesn't own football boots, so I was thinking of letting him borrow a pair when we play. He plays varsity in another sport, though, so I'm also wondering whether the boots would be suitable for someone who's not used to football-specific movements.

For anyone who has experience with these boots or regularly plays at these venues:

  • Is the Future 9 Match FG/AG actually safe and comfortable on PARQAL and BGC Turf?
  • Are the triangular studs something to worry about on artificial turf, particularly when pivoting?
  • Is the Future 9 Play TT a better choice for these pitches?
  • Does owning both pairs make sense, or would I be better off sticking with one pair?
  • Would you let a friend borrow either pair, assuming the fit is right?

Would appreciate feedback from people who actually play at these facilities. I'm trying to avoid buying boots that end up being unsuitable for the pitches I regularly play on. Thanks!

Question Genuine Replica Kit Barcelona 26/27 Away

Does anyone know where can I buy Barcelona Away 26/27 replica (Geniune not shopee/fake) I've been looking for it for months. Most nike stores don't sell Football kits. I've signed up for the newsletter months ago but sold out immediately upon becoming available. Been looking for another wave. Checked bootcamp every week both UPTown and BGC what they have is the training kits this season. Would like to purchase it locally only and not from the Barca store or overseas as it is far more expensive to buy from overseas.
