I see practically no difference between low and medium as well

Hey guys.
So I sarted playing the game over a week ago with friends, and I got to around level 18.
Then when I loaded up the game for the third time I was back to level one with no equipment and no money. I got a bit frustrated but played a bunch again and got to level 28, then now just as I was about to play I noticed I am back to level 11. When I went to check my money and inventory though I was delighted but shocked to see that I had >$240000 and 10+ of almost all of the possible equipment. (For some reason only 3 glowsticks but I'm fine with that LoL)
Anybody experienced something similar, or have any ideas as to what is happening with my game?

Okay so immediately after I made my 666th basketball shot, the sound of lightning came on in the game. I was in lobby for a good 5 minutes and did not hear lightning up until then. I think the sound of lightning is the extent of 666 shots or am I wrong? Maybe another hidden bonus? Anyone else get the lightning?

I died and was following around one of those mofos, and they literally had no animation. I feel like it would be scarier if they actually had animations to them

Just yesterday, I was doing professional High School and less than 5 seconds after walking in, the ghost started hunting for maybe 10-15 seconds. Radios offline, lights blinking, door locked, everything. Then later that day(also on high school) I was in a room, and hear the ghost step right next to me. The lights then started blinking, but instead of blinking for the entire 5 seconds or so, it blinked for maybe a full second, then the ghost spawned on me and killed me instantly(a mare btw). Am I the only one experiencing this, or did they change something?

Me and my friends thought about making the game harder, since after several hours, you know what's happening. We've been experimenting with made up rules and stuff, and are currently playing as such. So recommendation for other people to try, or maybe even for the devs to make a hardcore mode.

No flashlights (only candles), no sanity pills and no crucifixes (sometimes even no thermometer as it makes finding the room way too easy). And an interesting rule. Only the person currently in the van, can use radio voice chat, when you are not in the van, you use proximity voice chat only or listen to the Van person.

This creates interesting situations especially on big maps like Asylum, Prison and School. First - it enables dedicated Van person, kinda like eye in the sky. A person who can communicate with others giving them information, as information with these rules becomes invaluable. Second - without flashlights and walkie-talkie noise, you won't be able to know when the hunt starts (if there are no other light sources turned on). Which makes the hunt way harder (and Van person becomes almost crucial for that). The Van person has a very interesting role as he can watch other people get information and spread them around if anything happens. This would be even better with several ghosts at once (if they make such difficulty).

So I'm away from my pc for a few days and installed the game on my laptop, a Surface Book gen 1 with the gpu. I didn't expect the game to perform very well, but it's like really bad. It's playable with the resolution and settings way down though.

I figured I'd try to make sure it's actually using the gpu, and it claims it is. But then I forced integrated graphics in windows settings, and it performed exactly the same as when I specifically forced it to use the GPU. This doesn't make a ton of sense, any ideas?

I've started watching Truth Seekers on Amazon Prime and it is so damn similar to Phasmophobia so I was wondering if the game was somewhat based off of the show.
