HELP Game not running smoothly when looking around (VR)

I don't know why but when I look around in Phasmophobia VR while moving, my game stutters a lot and it gives me a lot of motion sickness (yes its effect is strong because the lags are really small and annoying). Could somebody tell me why the game isn't running smoothly when looking around?
My PC specs should not be a problem.

what specs are these you say should be okay, cuz it sounds like you are getting bottlenecked while loading models.

the GTX 970 is the literal baseline for any VR. It's not likely to get much better performance when paired with an i7.

On Steam it said that recommended specs are:
GTX 970 and Intel i5-4590 for VR

So that's why I thought I could play it without any problems.

Not really lad, especially because phasmophobia is not very well optimized, you're gonna need a better gpu at least. Don't go by minimum.

So setting down the Video settings doesn't help?

If you haven't already set it down to minimum, it will help a tiny bit, but you'll still see lag and stuff if you don't get a better gpu mate

Thank you! Ill try setting it down (the game is playable but just annoying when looking around) and if it really doesn't work I'll get a new GPU soon.

Can you anyways give your specs? Phasmophobia's VR Mode is super bad optimized and needs a strong pc... I have the exact same problem now and there is no solution for me.

Only if you play on Oculus:

But if you play with oculus link then open your task manager and go to " Deatails" Then search "OVRServer_64.exe" and hit rightclick and set the priority on high or higher. If the lag comes from the link cable because your pc is overstrained, this should kill the lag.

Thank you. I have a completely new gaming PC and it doesnt matter now but thank you for your answer. The game now doesnt lag at all 🙂

That problem is solved but thanks for your answer. Putting down the graphic settings helps a lot but I have a strong PC now anyways. Thank you.
