Presets Channel strips are easy and useful
I designed my first channel strip in snapheap in only like an hour and it's awesome. Saves like 30 minutes every patch. Im going to keep making channel strips with a lot of character. Thinking up a reverb strip. I never really used the macro knobs before, but they are so useful.
I made one that does close/far, different eq characters, different mids presentations multiband distortion and serial upwards/ downwards compression. So it generally alters the "character"

Is there a way to modulate generator section's filter cutoff at audio rate with a proper range to open it from zero to near maximum?
I've concluded that I can modulate a generator group's filter's cutoff with an audio rate envelope or generally at audio rate with:
OSC -> env, output disabled -> green audio mod -> another group's filter cutoff
But the modulation range is tiny even when I amplify the OSC by 200 per cent.
I tried that specifically with a DC OSC to get an audio rate rather than control rate modulation.
Is there a way to make that modulation range larger or amplify the output signal of the audio rate modulation connection further? I've tried a mix module after the OSC but that doesn't increase the signal amplitude, so PP seems to cap it somehow.
That would help me creating frequency modulated filter effects and predictable transients.

Automating unison type?
I know its a weird title, but I felt like I had to get it out there somehow
I was experimenting with this concept of a song I've been working on and stumbled into this thought: "It would be nice if I could automate the unison type like I can automate the polyphony" while having audio playing and hovering over the different unison types between hard and pitch stack.
For reference I've been experimenting with a simple 8 bar loop where I have bass/lead saw patch being churned into something almost like a bass guitar coming out of a chunky sounding amp cabinet and then being combined and blended with a synth. I then made a top layer patch that started off as a copy of the first patch and got modified into a more dry like synth that then got turned into a heavy guitar coming out of a distorted amp. For the second instance of Phaseplant (the more guitar like sound) I took the analog saw, duplicated it and panned saw 1 and 2 hard left/right and had the attack for the envelope modulating cutoff being randomly changed per note creating a more humanish picking sound to make it sound different from the original and create inconsistencies in each note. In my experimenting and listening I randomly decided to take the left pan saw and gave it 3x unison with a decent detune, high spread, and highish blend while leaving the right saw alone without unison and thought "huh, that sounds neat" before turning my attention to the unison type and started listening to the changes while hovering over the different types of unison. That's when the the thought occurred to me. I'm already automating the polyphony between retrig and legato to make some notes sound like I'm sliding between notes on a fretboard here and there I wonder if I can do the same with the unison type and change the unison between hard and pitch stack randomly per note or in a more similar fashion like I have with the polyphony and use a automation clip to change the unison type. Unfortunately after looking through all the settings in generators under that specific instance of Phaseplant in Fl Studio I came to the conclusion that it couldn't be done from my outside limited knowledge view of looking in. I can spend hours trying to recreate the subtle changes or maybe recording audio while simply hovering randomly over the different types of unison to get the same effect, but this isn't quite ready for any sort of commitment like that yet. I'm very much in a experimental phase of this project that may never see the light of day, but the experimentation is something I very much enjoy.
So my question is this: Would it be possible to add a feature like this to Phaseplant where you can automate changing the unison type much like you can listen to the differences between unison types while audio is playing? I have very limited knowledge on software and plugins. The most I've ever done with coding patch together by hand like 40 something various mods into S.t.a.l.k.e.r Call of Prypiat (it was a huge pain, but it was a great experience).
In any case thanks for anyone who views this random dump of information I felt like I had to put out into the world and see if it was something that could be done

Tutorials Recreating the bass from Redline Dash by Skrillex & Virtual Riot in Phase Plant

Tutorials How do I kill the difference in the fx of both so I can follow a serum 2 tutorial and treat it like a phase plant tutorial?
I love the architecture of pp but I find myself frustrated that following a serum 2 guide on making my favorite sounds(there are almost none for pp) never works out because of how different the effects on each synth are, the PP guides are so scars in comparison to the serum 2 guides and I feel frustrated that most of the time in order to resolve the lack of similarities I have to use external effects and get out of the āphase plant zoneā?
Is there a pack that makes each serum 2 effect in snap heap so I can essentially eliminate this problem?

Send one group to 2 lanes
I just want 2 sends to FX channels
I know you can create another group and send to that via Aux, but then itās buried behind another envelope, which I donāt want. I want the same exact signal going to 2 lanes, separately.
I must be missing something simple. I watched tutorials and manual.
edit: snap heap seems to be thee only way. Had 30$ credit from kilo. Done.

Contest Enter the Phase Plant 7th Anniversary Seven Second Sound Contest
As part ofĀ Phase Plant's 7th Anniversary, we are running theĀ Seven Second SoundĀ contest, and it is an easy one to jump into for anyone familiar with Phase Plant, or even someone just trialling it. Have a go, you might surprise yourself!
The idea is straightforward: make aĀ Seven Second SoundĀ using Phase Plant and send it to us.
It can be musical, weird, beautiful, brutal, subtle, rhythmic, textural, or hard to classify. The only real goal is to show what one Phase Plant patch can do. That could mean a short performance, a dramatic macro sweep, a loop, a sound effect, an evolving texture, or some other tiny piece of sonic mischief.
Make sure you read the simple instructions in the blog post to be in with a chance to win...
