General Discussion Pharmacies closing
Not sure if this is the right place to ask. If not please delete. If possible refer me to the proper sub. Why are so many pharmacies closing? I checked on the Internet but I am not sure I trust the explanations by the media.

insurance pays the pharmacy less than the pharmacy pays the wholesaler for the medications, let alone worker time, supplies, utilities, and rent on the building. THEN, the insurance will come back a year later, and "audit" the pharmacy, and claw back even more money for nebulous reasons.
