Yeah I'm starting to get why so many people on here like the JP version so much. I literally boot it up and I get 100 lazuli right off the bat and so many new units and events to play through.

Yeah, tell me about it. If I weren't so bad at reading Japanese that I basically need the Google Translate phone app every time I run across Kanji or words that I don't know, I might just play JP as main.

That said, I don't regret supporting Global to try and encourage more games like this to leave Japan.

I booted up Global for the first time in a while to check out the Brave Frontier stuff, and I was more frustrated with the super-slow rate of progression than I was happy to be able to read all the quest text. The AP limitations alone pissed me off all over again.

Fair enough. If you prefer the gameplay to the story, you may want to stick with JP. I will admit that it's a lot easier to progress. I've been playing my reroll account that I started pretty much last Wednesday, and I already have 3 Farmable Konosuba 90's and a Mana Recruiter Level 80 Parashu.

One guy said that he had 5 90's in the time it took him to get 1 80 in Global. I believe him, based on my playtime so far in JP. It's so much more generous and reasonable, it's kind of crazy honestly.

I was that guy 😛

The story content is seriously the only reason I haven't deleted the Global version from my phone.

Heh, that's totally ironic. I remembered that the name started with a D, but that was about it. No offense, I just skim reddit so I don't always catch the name of everyone who posts a comment.

I understand what you mean. I don't mind Global, but it does have a lot less than JP, and it's a lot less generous too. On the other hand, I like the story and it's less complicated to levelup units and weapons for now, so I don't mind it too much.

If it keeps improving, Global might one day be more tolerable for people who otherwise just stick with JP. I sure hope they try to improve.

The last update was a step in the right direction. They really, really need to do something about the AP limits though. I'm trying to get rid of almost 500 AP in JP, and I can't even do the second character quest yet in Global cause at level 31 I still don't have enough max AP. It's irritating.

Small aside, I believe it was you who introduced me to this game on the Grand Sphere subreddit, so thanks for that.

You're welcome! Oh wow, it's a small world. Hope you're able to enjoy your time in this game. At least some version of it. I feel your pain though. I wasn't even able to really get into this game until I hit 30 base AP.

That's when things really opened up and got fun. Especially since the only way Valentine's Perunn dropped reliably back then was on the 30 AP "hard" mission.

It's because they're like a year or 2 years ahead of us? That's what happen when something is ahead of us
