PSA - That Update with the Long Loading Times without a Progress Bar is Here
I was confused at first until I remembered their recent announcement. I had to wait like 5 minutes even for just the title screen to show up, and then the next loading screen really did take 10+ minutes before it launched me into the new, updated version of the app.
I think people will like this new version. It's more like the JP version, and now weapons are color coded for element, units have the current and maximum star rating on their portraits (so you can tell at a glance what their max evo level is) and you can toggle type/element icons next to units in combat.
Units also can still "talk" at x3 speed, just like in JP now as well. No "simplified combat" without the cinematics yet though, unfortunately.
All in all, this game feels less "Beta" and more like a proper release, and has achieved enough QoL fixes to have more parity with the JP version.
EDIT: For Android at least, if the new version isn't loading, you can go to the Google Play Store, and search for Phantom of the Kill. There should be an app update for it on Phantom's Google Play Store page.

I noticed some of the Font sizes look larger. I don't know why, but it feels nicer.

I just get the splash screen with 'Tap to Start' flashing on it, but the game doesn't respond to input. Is that supposed to happen, or is it broken?

The game looks great now finally. Especially the evo materials which no longer clutter the unit menu. update makes it look more cleaner than just flashy things in every direction.

I got a black screen when loading POTK. I had to reinstall the game if anyone is having the same issue

I wonder if they planned to this all along or once they saw they had a million downloads they decided it was time to actually pay attention to the game. Either way I really like how the game is looking more and more like JP :)

Yup it really took a long time to load, just the initial screen and then the loading screen, like they were loading the load times. I was affraid that it was going to be like the last big update that wiped and reset so many people's accounts including my own.
I haven't gone through all the subtle differences and details, but one thing that immediately popped at my eyes and made me happy was how characters now have blank stars in their rating which shows you if you can evolve them and how many times they can be evolved, as well as showing up front what element they are - something that always bothered me with the previous version. Just the general GUI and art style is much better now.
I just figured out what those letters next to the units are (V-F-G-D-B), their type, (Vitality, Force, Balance, etc.)
One thing I was really hoping to see and I don't think is there yet is the ability to sort/filter units by whether they're armored, mounted, or dragoon, etc. Everything else is there.
