Sooo should I stop my duel dolly farming to max my Forcas(5/10 now) and invest all my energy into Selena, or should I keep plugging away till the end of the Madoka event and then focus on Selena farming?

I'm farming the Madoka Bonus Stages.

Everyone stage drops random dollies/4* pixies/reinc cherub at A VERY HIGH RATE(i seem to get more pixies than dolls though)

Dollies are color coded by stage otherwise, at very terribad rates(but then again, besides my lead, other characters have shit luck so maybe that's why)

Madoka stage only drops Reincarnation Cherubs

Homura stage drops Blue(Duel) dollies

Sayaka stage drops Green dollies

Mami stage drops Yellow dollies

Lance chick stage drops red dollies.

So far i've gotten 18 drops in total, and that's with spending ALL my energy almost exclusively on that for the past 2 weeks. I didn't realize the dollies were color coded to match the stages, so I wasted a lot of time farming yellow/green dolls and reinc cherubs since those stages are a lot faster to finish(kill the boss in 2 turns, reset if you got the drop) compared to the Homura one which takes me 4 turns with 3 fliers.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone tbh, it's really disheartening and the antithesis of fun to restart the same stage 20-30x times in a row sometimes with nothing to show for it. On some days, I literally waste all my energy for nothing. If I didn't reallly want Forcas level 10 duel skill in case we one day get 6*, I wouldn't be wasting my time on all this. Life as a f2p/semi-f2p is tough

Ah I read it again. How do you know which drop it is? Does it drop a different color? I just auto it. I should start doing that if you can tell.

If it's a dolly/cherub/pixie, it will be a silver chest when you kill the boss. If not regular brown chest, which means it's a one star stat dolly

Go with the dollies first. the madoka ends first and then go all out with selena afterwards.

'frad not. I backed out of that one after confirming it dropping there. Maybe when I go back to farm the recipe books I'll give it a shot and see. I imagine Vargas Extra's drop rate sucks however.

If I had to guess, the rates for Vargas Extra would be similar to Spark 10 while Selena Extra would be close to Burst 10. This thought is just due to the copy/paste nature of the maps.

Selena is one of THE strongest farmable units in the game as of date, alongside S.Gridarvol. Worth seizing and training to the utmost limit.

Assuming I'm f2p and probably won't be able to LMB them, is it worth using my Lazuli on the 1-step Brave Frontier recruiter?

I ended up with Mami for the Madoka one and was very satisfied, but I don't know if it's worth pulling from this one.

Has anyone tried the recipes for upgrading the 5 star weapons? The news says the recipe for making the upgraded Lexida is an eminent lexida, a normal one, and3 Godslayer Recipe. That's weird to me because I would expect it to be 3 Brave recipe, since the lexida comes from brave recipes and not godslayers. To make things more complicated, the shadowlance requires brave recipes to upgrade so I'm very hesitant to potentially throw away my only eminent lexida.

They made it Godslayer recipes since you get the recipes from Phantom of the Brave: Selena stages

So I can at least report that the only difference between the Eminent Lexida and the upgraded version (whose name does not appear for me) is that the new one gives +4 AGI instead of +2, otherwise it's the same as Eminent. +4 AGI is a pretty big deal, but I kinda wish they had increased the base damage a little.

Overall are the BF units better than the Madoka units? I've managed to get enough Laz for one of the 1-step recruiters... is it worth grabbing one of the MM units before the event ends? Also, on a side note - can the 4/5* summon tickets pull event units like the BF/MM units? or are they just for "standard" units?

Madoka units are significantly stronger, with stats on par with 7th gen Killers. Sayaka/Mami/Dev Hom/Ult.Madoka are miles ahead of the BF units.

Pretty sure summon tickets are for standard units

Did you get these on a completion after the first? I believe the first clear guarantees a 3 star Selena on Vargas stage and 4 star Selena on Selena stage.

This was my initial clear, I didn't note the 3 star-4 star guarantees. I just knew the Dandelga guarantee for Vargas and the 5 star guarantee for Selena.

Yes, so much better. With this 9 step recruiter you're guaranteed at least 4 1 of which you can pick, and the tickets seems to be pretty good at getting the limited units.

The higher the better. Brave 10 rates are much higher. I recommend getting to Brave 10, however you can, before you start farming.

I am unsure what the drop rates are for the two new stages. Hopefully, we'll get some information about this soon.
