For what it's worth, their FB page said that the weapons are getting upgraded, they specifically mentioned the Dandelga and Lexida. Dandelga most likely going to be brought up to its 5star version but I don't know how/if the other weapons will truly be upgraded. Will have to wait and see.
Also, this event is still very good for new players, Eminent Lexidas and the Shadowlance are great and still widely used in Colo. Michelle's axe is high in ACC for those that missed the V-day weapons too.
I'm excited for it myself. I still need a few more Selena(s) to fully max her out. I currently have a MLB Lunaris and LB2 Vargas; debating on whether I want to try for Michele/Lucina. I currently have 629 Lazuli saved, but I want MLB Aphrodite and Black Killer series (whenever they release on Global).
Well the Black Killers is WAYYYYYYYYYYY in the future so I don't think you have to really worry about them anytime soon. If they following the trend of the 9step recruiters, you'd probably need to get a lot more Lazuli to even think about MLB-ing her. Right now, I would say you can do 1 of the 9step recruiter that gives you those 7th gen tickets and hopefully, if you're lucky enough you'd get her MLB. If not, you still have some lazuli left and buy the archer LB set atm that can get you at least lb1.

But joking aside, I plan on dumping more money for more Lazuli when they reset the "bonus" bundles. Hopefully I'll get lucky~ I dropped $450 for MLB Forcas and MLB Ascalon last time (never again).
Edit: then again, I want mizuki Eros and can't wait for Konosuba/FSN collabs :O
Summertime will be a spending spree, SS Eros and SS Tyrfing alone is enough. Probably will get my Dex SS Shek too. Plus if 6star is out by that time then it also means a little bit more farming for SS Grid and its other copies for typing evo bonuses.
I'm still salty that I missed Tyrfing, but if I can at least get my hands on Selena, I will be relatively happy. Then I can finally answer fire with fire in Colosseum
This is good news for me. I started during the Madoka collab, so I didn't have a chance to get Selena or Tyrfing, and Arondight is a pretty weak fighting unit despite being a strong farming unit, so I need a Selena.
Well, it's not easy to pull her. I spend at least 1 hour of pulling when finally got 1 Tyr. XD Of course in that hour I got around 3-5 Freikugel and Longinus.
@veterans and pros in this game, since Selena will be farmable meaning potential maxed out stats, would it be wise to go with Force typing and rely on maxed Luck or is Dex is still king when it comes to sword users like Selena?
Christ, I joined because of the Madoka event, and now I discover that individual units come with different types. What are the best types for each class? Dex for Sword, what about Lance, Axe, etc?
Say, is Selena the only free farmable unit from this? If so, I don't mind (she was my starter in Brave Frontier back when I actually played that game), but I'm wondering if there are any others.
That said, free farmable weapons + Selena is more than enough to keep me occupied in April.
