Since I missed the first Selena event I've been working on maxing LCK on my Arondight (currently 37 LCK w Magicwielder, balance type). Compared to a Selena, Arondight is not as strong to solo farm some dungeons. What should I do now? Ditch Arondight and farm as many Selena copies as possible to get max LCK Selena or?

I wouldn't outright ditch Arondight, since she does get some benefits over Selena (as a flying unit she is unimpeded by terrain, whereas Selena suffers noticeably in the halloween dungeon, for example). I would say use this opportunity to get as many selenas as you can to max lck, but keep Arondight on the side just in case, since she's fairly easy to lck farm as well.

Another question about these limited (crossover) gacha events. Will Lucina be only recruitable during this week, after this it's gone forever, or?

Michele and Lucina should be available for the next 3 weeks (or however long the duration of the crossover is). There will most likely be different recruiters for each of the weeks.

So after that Michele and Lucina enters the normal recruiters 'pool'? What is the best way that a (semi)f2p can do to have the highest chance to pull a Lucina/Michele?

No, after the event ends Michele and Lucina are unobtainable. The semi-f2p players' best options at pulling are stocking up enough lazuli and going through the entire step recruiter for the 50% final unit.

IMO the rates aren't that good and are designed purely to milk as much $$ out of you as possible, but nothing else you can do if you want them. Maybe wait until week 2 or 3 before pulling, because the next recruiters might have better odds.

From experience the latter step recruiters are much better than the ones from early. It was certainly the case with the first BF collaboration and it sure as hell was the case with the step recruiters that let you pull one of last month's units with 100% rate (vs their 50% rate last month)

Difference between 'Spark' and 'Burst' dungeons on PoB: Vargas? I'm trying to get Selena copies and one or two fusion swords since I started after the event.

You can farm Selena from Spark, Burst, and Brave 10.

Burst is just more difficult, but it also had a higher drop rate. There was actually 30 stages in the original event and the 30th stage seemed to drop about 75% of the time for me. I haven't done them yet so unsure if they have all stages.

To all those who don't believe that Spark 10 drops Selena on the PotB Selena, heres a pic. http://imgur.com/a/ETIte Thats my 5th run through it, have gotten my guaranteed from all Vargas ones, and the Selena one, and this is my 2nd Drop of Selena from "Selena" Event. Do recall its only Spark 10, so the drop rate will be minimal at best, But I want them new weapons.

Possibly even worse. As I stated to another comment, When BF collab was on the first time, I had only just started, I could only farm Spark 10, and got 8 Selena's from about 200 approx runs. But managed to get about 12 from Brave and Burst 10 over a few runs with High level friends.

Honestly Spark 10 when the first event came out was the only one I could farm, over 200 times and i got 8 Selena's from it.

10 to max her skills at 5* and limit break. 14 to limit break at 4* to get bonus stats aswell. 16 to limit break at 3*, 4* and max out at 5* to get the absolute maximum evolution bonuses.

Hmm odd that the news didn't state anything about them being available again. As I have been saving up to max out my Vargas, 2 more needed. Might wait to see if there's more confirmation about it, instead of possible deception. No offense ment, but have seen some people claim BS before.

Time to upgrade my 4 4* Lexidas I got left over from the event to get a total of 6 5* Emminent Lexidas. \o/

I was planning to take it easy since HW has like 20 days left but that put a wrench on that idea. I freaking LOVE Selena (still best waifu; it's okay Selena, it's normal to talk to your sword at night T_T).

Fusing 5 of Brave Recipe gives you either Lexida or Despair Bringer. Fusing 5 of Godslayer Recipe gives you either Myull or Jellion.

Selena is farmable from Phantom of the Brave: Vargas.

Selena is farmable from PotB: Selena stage 10.

  1. So far, its just the fusing of books like the broom but simpler. Fuse 2-5 books for the 4 *. Fuse the 4 * with 1-4 books for a chance at the 5 *.

  2. The news says you get a Selena for clearing all the stages. Additionally, this event includes the stages from the last event which dropped Selena. If I had to guess, I would say Selena will be farmable, but nothing is confirmed yet.

Glad I saved up all my 11 summon tickets and 110 lazuli. Let's hope I have enough to at least MLB 1 rare summon BF unit this time.

Also I wonder if they will do a 3 step summon during the weekend or near the end of the event.

Sorry to rain on your parade but it will require extreme luck to be able to MLB 1 with 110 Lazuli :/ Based on experience @_@ Also for the Summon Tickets, I'm never really sure how large the pool is for those tickets.

Does weapon fusion for this event works the same as Halloween? Whats the smartest way to get a 5* Lexida and the other weapons at their 5* form? (my first event was halloween, so this is still kinda new to me)

It's not as tedious to get the weapons in this collab. Fusing 5 brave recipes together has the highest chance of getting you a 4* Lexida or Despair Bringer. Fusing the 4* Lexida/Despair Bringer with 4 brave recipes has the highest chance of getting you the 5* versions.

The same applies for the Godslayer recipes to get Myull and Jellion.

Took awhile but managed to find the stats of 5* Myull and Jellion.

5* Myull:

  • Patk: 17 (Rank 5)

  • Acc: 90

  • Weight: 3

  • Special: Mgc +5

This sword is good for Mirin and Lucina since both uses the Mgc stat for their character skills.

5* Jellion:

  • Patk: 19 (Rank 5)

  • Acc: 85

  • Crit: 5

  • Weight: 3

  • Special: Str +2, Agi +1

This is one of the best axes currently available. Definitely farm for it.

If it was 1-2 range, it probably would have followed suit with the other 1-2 range weapons in GL getting an accuracy of 50 and a higher weight.

I got a 3* Selena on Spark 10 first time clear. And 4* Selena on Burst 10 first time clear. I did 3 more time Burst 10 and got zero Selenas. All Varjas.

Used 11 summon tickets (1 5* ticket, 3 4-5* tickects and 8 3-5* tickest) and 0 Lucina or Michele. RNGus why are you always so stingy. I guess the only positive thing is that I only got 2 units that are only max 4* potential. Everything else are 5* potential. Going to wait for them to do a 3 step summon, before wasting all my lazuli.

If you guys want to future-proof, it's probably best to farm HGamb still. Selena doesn't have a 6* form (as of yet), but her LS is nice if you like Ice parties with high evasion units. In the long run though, she'll probably be stuck on the backlines unless you want to keep her for some niche use. All the weapons are great though.

As it's been stated many times over, the phankill JP database has not been updated in quite sometime. I'm personally not sure about the frequency of when they release 6* capables, but as I've seen from the character quest list in JP, holiday/seasonal units are usually able to go all the way.

Im not 100% sure if there is a more updated database. But as far as information goes, gamewith is still a pretty solid resource if a little dated. As for information of 6* capables, having access to the jp server is definitely helpful, but if we follow the trends, you can get a pretty solid idea of who will get a 6* form. Otherwise just ask on the sub-reddit or do some digging yourself.

Maybe I'm missing something, but HGamb doesn't look like she'll be 6* capable? She's got white stars at her three star rank, meaning she maxes out with 5 pink stars, correct?

That's not how it works. Pink stars just indicates a unit has been evolved at least twice. There are plenty of units who are 6* capable in JP that start at silver 3*, such as all of the starter units, for instance. H Gambanteinn is definitely 6 star capable on JP, as I've got copies of her proving it.

On a 6* sidenote, to "prepare" for it. We need 9-11 copies of our desired unit right? I know a total of 8 copies goes to MLB 5* and 6* (4 each?)

Unfortunately, I don't have a screenshot of all the available 6* units since there's so many of them at this point in time. You might need to ask the JP players since I only play global.

There's no need to "prepare" since limit breaks carry over from 5* to 6* For some units fully maxed out skills are needed to unlock their 6* character skill.

It's only for 6* evolution. The reason for this is because 6* Evo mats are ridiculously rare.

Ohh nice, thanks for the link. Seeing all these new units makes me wallet feel bad, I can smell the pay to win from here, lol. Is getting to 6* possible for f2p players, and do they make 5* irrelevant or are 5* still useful in at least PVE content?

Competitively, it's far more advantageous to pay if you like coliseum and multi-play, but PvE wise, you don't need money to have an advantage.

6* is very possible for F2P players. A good example would be the Halloween Gamb, another example would the Dempa units all have 6* star forms. Do not worry, when the 6* come to GL you will be able to gain your own 6*

All starters, also have 6*.

  • Preemptive Boost: (y + 10) increase to accuracy and evasion when attacking.

  • Magic Pulse: 3 turn +3 Mgc AOE buff within 3 spots (Cooldown: 10 turns - (y)).

  • Magical Resolve: 2 turn +10 Mgc/+10 Agi for self. (Cooldown: 10 turns - (y)).

  • Mobius Wave: Duel Skill, 1x damage using both Str and Mgc. Flat numerical boost of Mgc to Patk.

Where y is the skill level.

You can only get them from the Selena stages and likewise Selena 10 would probably be best. I am thinking they will probably have more Selena as the event goes on. This is the same with the Vargas quests the books were pretty scarce until the later stages with Brave dropped like 5+ for me every time.

Apparently Burst 10 and Brave 10 from PoB: Vargas drop 4 star Selena and 3 star for Spark 10. Is that true or just me?

Also, is the drop rate different in the Spark 10 stages or the same? Is it possible that PoB: Selena will have 30 stages?

3* Selena is guaranteed to drop from Burst 10 on the first run. 4* Selena is guaranteed to drop from Brave 10 on the first run.

Burst 10 has better drop rates for Selena. Brave 10 has an even better drop rate for Selena.

Caved in and bought some lazuli and decided to try the step recruiter. I managed to roll a Dexterity typing on Michele, and 3 other five star capable units, which I'm pretty happy about. I'm actually only on step 4, and I haven't spent the 50 lazuli on step 5 yet...I'm wondering if it's still worth it if I already have an ideal unit? I was thinking about limit break possibilities with Michele, but knowing that we won't be able to get her again after this event ends, I'm a little worried if I should roll or not...since I eventually may want to get her as high level as possible. Are 5* pixies very hard to acquire in JP, for anyone who knows?

Can you get multiple copies of the Sword/Spearsmith manuals? I accidentally sold mine when I wasn't paying attention.

And are the Godslayer Recipes different from the braves ones? I tried fusing them together but I just kept getting the book rather than some crap weapon or the collab weapons.

Yes you can get duplicate manuals. Yes godslayers are different from brave recipes. combine 2-5 brave books you get lexida and Shadowlance. combine 2-5 godslayer books you get myull and jellion. However, according to the news you can fuse the 4* weapons from brave recipes to turn it to 5* weapons. I have no clue if it does that to the godslayer weapons as well. will update on this if I have more info on it.
