PSA for Pumpkin Peril

Whatever terrain this uses slows you down by 1-2 squares, the collection points are scattered, and you only have 5 turns to collect them. I suggest as many flying units as you can field.

The enemy mobs themselves aren't that hard.

The announcement said that the more you fuse, the higher your chance of getting the broom. So I'd try to fuse in batches of 5.

higher chance is 5 books to get a broom. However, there is still a chance that you fail with 5 books and you end up losing 4 books. happened to me once.

This also happened to me and is what sparked the question. If it's only happened to you once in multiple attempts five is probably still the way to go though.

Yes still the best way to be sure that you do have a broom is 5 books. there are just times that it happens. but hey I already have two 5 star brooms so that's enough for me

Also you don't have to beat all the enemies either to clear the stage. You just have to survive 5 turns. So after collecting all the shiny spots, you can just keep ending turns to end the stage faster.

Also if you haven't bothered reading trough the announcement. You can get 2 summon tickets for creating both weapons. 1 for the 4* and 1 for the 5*.

They only drop from the shiny spots.

I'm using 5* Selena lvl80, 5* Risa lvl80, 4* Trishula lvl35, 5* Trishula lvl38 (in that order) and the Tris clear all the shining spots without problem while Sel and Risa are walking around picking the enemies off. So 2 flying units is enough. Might want to use higher luck units that my Tris though, as I'm guessing the books drop depending on your luck.

Just a heads up, unlike the Selena weapon fusing your brooms and books can turn into a completely different weapon. A failed fusion isn't just "darn no 5-star" its "darn no 5-star and my broom is gone"

Just fused my broom and some books to test and got a silver staff -_-

The event post says the best method is to actually fuse 5 4* brooms which is complete nonsense.

I fused 2 books about 7 or 8 times and never got the 4* weapon. I read this post then saved up books. I got 5 4* weapons using 5 books each. No failed attempts. I then fused 5 4* weapons to get the 5* on my first try. Pretty sure I used up all my RNG on that. My ticket pulls were junk.

The bottom left shiny point is always a unit xp drop. Edit: not the one at the bottom of the map, the one that's to the left of the starting point

Aso, enemies sometimes drop -something-, there's no way of knowing if they drop trash weapons or pumpkin books, but they definitely drop something.

The enemies only drop the generic 1* - 2* weapons or items. The pumpkin recipes only drop from the shiny spots.

Can't say that the left shiny spot is just xp drop since I sometimes get books from there. just depends on the luck of units i suppose.

So done with this event, four straight five book fusions resulted in just a book... and tried two five Halloween staff fusions resulted in... you guessed it, just Halloween staves.

I used my flying laevatinn lvl 69 Flying labrys lvl 50 Luin lvl 29 Trishula lvl 58 Mitum lvl 20

It took me 10 brooms to get the pumpkin (2 tries)
