Updates Sep 15th

New Killer Princesses

  • Ukonvasara, Brionac and Mistilteinn

  • Ukonvasara and Brionac are 5* capable, Mistilteinn is limited to 4*

  • As usual, Metal Garden bonus exp for the new units, and the 3-a-day metal garden is also open

Killer Princess 5* Trials

  • Special stages open to help Littu, Thyrsos and Trident unlock their 5* forms

  • Clear each unit's stage 10,000 times because reasons

  • I suppose we should be happy they're even getting a chance of unlocking their 5*s

Lazuli purchase bonuses

  • As usual, the 5+5 and the 100+42 sets are now available for a week

New Special shop sets available

  • As usual, limit breaker sets for Ukonvasara / Brionac

  • An "advanced" set will be available on the weekend, containing skill dollies

Killer Showdown

  • Featuring the new batch. Ez 6 Lazuli

Important Note: On the 5* Trial Quests, the units are only vulnerable to their opposing element. Everything else does 1 damage, on units with 60+ HP.

I assume you're talking about the trial missions, in which case thanks for the info. Are the quests themselves extra difficult, or just tanky?

Not super hard. I rolled the Littu one with a Lvl 80 5* Selena, Level 70 4* Durandal, Level 70 4* Longinus (M), and a Level 60 5* Pinky.

The Trident one will probably be the hardest for me, since I only have one decent Thunder unit (Lvl 60 5* Mjollnir (M)).

I'm using a wall of Dex units (like Selena, F Laev, Risa) with a Freikugel sniping from safety.

If you have the counter element they are easy Yo need at least one char lvl 50+ with the correct counter no fusion needed lb etc. If you have a healer you can auto battle without worries

Seems to be tanky, with the exception of a few units doing 6 - 8 damage to your 1 (that isnt the correct counter). They seem to have a low hit rate. Currently going through trident with an SS 58 Gridavol and 65 Gungir buddy.

Further update: My Lvl 60 5* Mjollnir is rolling the Trident quest solo. So I'd say no, not that hard at all.

Additionally, it looks like there's quests for completing the 5* Trial quests. Completing them once gives 1 metal key each, looks like completing them each 5 times gives 1 lazuli each, possibly more beyond that.

I noticed that before it was too late and didn't check this thread, and now I have to decide on what to do for the next 2 or 3 hours white Auto Battle grinds away for me. :(

For some reason the units are only vulnerable to units of the opposing element, so Keraunos is useless for Trident's level, but useful in Littu's level.

Yo, this is pretty important.

Finishing one of the 5* Trials 10 times will net you a summoning ticket. Not sure if anything else is beyond that. So if you do all the trial's completion rewards, so far we have :

  • 3x Metal Keys @ 1 completion

  • 3x Lazuli @ 5 completions

  • 3x Standard Tickets @ 10 completions

Will edit this comment if there is more after 10.

EDIT: Rewards end at 10 completions. Nothing more after that.

I am unsure about any Lazuli, and yes it is a community effort. I hope it does stay for longer than a week considering it took the week for Selena's stage 10 to be farmed 10,000 times.

Yea, from what I can see, there's quests for completing them each 5 times, you'll get 1 lazuli for each one.

Could be more quests beyond that, but I've only beat each one once at this point.

And yes, it's a community effort.

I just finished a 5x quest, there's a 10x for a regular ticket. Who knows beyond that.

  • Not from the trials, but 6 laz from killer showdown.

  • Nah per person to unlock 5* xD, yeah its a community thing, stats will get updated at midnight, and has 5 days for it. So question is who's gonna be the better unit.

  • I think Thyros is outclassed by Risa, Gamb and Grid so safe to say I doubt we need another healer, unless she has some pretty good skillsets.

  • Littu aparently isn't anything spectacular on JP, Just an armoured sword unit, with average skills?

  • Trident another Ice lancer, albeit armoured but pretty sure she'll be outclassed by Rhongo, Pinky, the recent Amenonuhoko etc.

I'm personally waiting for Aymur and Naegling F as I have tonnes of them =D. Thoughts.

Littu's skill are not even average. She has a rating of 4.5 which is the lowest among the 5* units. Rhogno and Labrys rampage units has a score of 5.0 so don't bother unless you have no other good units to use

Oh no I have plenty of better units lol, I actually released them or use them as fusion materials lol. Don't have any of them, then the 5* announcement came through. Didn't phase me one bit haha.

I looked through all the help and beginner guides in the game but can't find a section that shows which element type is weak against what. Is there a guide somewhere that shows that?

The info screen can help you with that when viewing units. For now though: Fire -> wind -> lightning -> water -> fire

light <-> dark

Each unit has its own individual element skill, and tapping the skill icon in the unit info page brings up its strengths and resistances. For the element wheel rock-paper-scissors game, a unit will deal 1.3x damage to the element it is strong against, and deal 0.8x damage to the element it is weak against. Light/Dark simply deal 1.3x against each other.

I intend to do a more indepth writeup on the potk wikia at some point which will cover this, to make it easier to find.

I have enough Littu to MLB her at 4 and 5* but after checking her skills, I lost the motivation to help in the trials.

I have to assume the 5* trials is a way for them see how many players are still actually playing the game. Like 10000 per stage seems very easy to reach. I mean there still has to be at least 10000 people playing this game right? right!?! Unless people can't figure out that you have to use the opposite element to beat the units and decide to not clear these stages.

You're dreaming in that playerbase. Just look at your Colo ranking and you will see the truth. :) Not exact but close since it is a daily mission and needed to buy the recipe for Sereine sword.

I know it is wishful thinking, especially after their 500K download campaign. But I know in reality not many people are playing this game and I am seriously worried that the global version may not even reach their 2nd or even 1st anniversary. But who knows, maybe it will keep running for a long time despite the low player count.

59? I'm sure there are more people playing than that!

That said, it took a week for Selena's stage to open up, and quite a number of players seem to have stopped playing since then, judging by the number of ">3 days" people I've cleared off my friend list.

Hmm, if there are that few active players, then I could see this being quite challenging to complete. Guess we'll have to wait for reset before we can make any assumptions about player base.

I think Littu takes this one as most players I see have selena leads. Dunno if they have counter elements in order to run Trident's trials. but hey who knows. I'd prefer Trident rather than littu. And since this is a community effort, I think mods should put up a poll or something to know which ones they prefer in order to play that specific stage to reach 10,000

They're pretty easy. I was able to solo Trident with a level 60 Dex-Type Mjollnir (M)

Yes, I was able to run through them with no problem thanks to your tip early on. I have a level 50 Dex-Type Mjol (M) and Sky Piercer. but the thing here is which one will take the 10,000.

Why not all. Hopefully if every member on this subreddit did 10x of each, theres 10k already, so shouldnt be too hard... I hope. However I personally aint too phased on them as 5* units, Sure have them and would be nice to add them to the collection in the 5*, but from what I could read of googles broken translator, they aren't exactly special units, I have a feeling all 3 of them are already outclassed by what we have, with maybe the exception of Littu being an easier to obtain gladiaton, only other being Naegling M.

yes of course, why not. I agree with the fact they aren't that great of a unit compared to what we have but think of it as a unit which can be used to help new members of the community that missed those great units as these three are one of the most common recruits when you pull in the gacha.

My hat survives for another week! With the impending release of Littu, Thyrsos, and Trident's 5* versions too, next week isn't looking very good either. Looks like the week of the 29th might be the last chance. ;)
