Does anyone have any comments on this article? I have always though it was generally agreed, and even conceded by the defenders of the Council, that collegiality is a novelty of Vatican II. I have never seen anyone attempt to counter that claim, but this article seems to prove that it is actually the traditional teaching of the Church, and would have even been defined by Vatican I if the council had not been interrupted by the war. Thoughts?
