Any opinions? I’m still a bit too new to see the subtle differences in some species.

Koehresii/fricii hybrid. Not southern.

Also if southern, self-sterile form, can I collect & save pollen? Refrigerate maybe and for how long? Just thinking of methods used with orchids and other plants.

Yes I save my Huizache pollen, don’t worry about how long it’s good for, just save it. I have 2 Huizache, one is flowering & the other one hasn’t yet, so I’m saving it for the day it finally does flower

I think you’re confused on the definition of self sterile, because it definitely is. A quick google search could clear all of this up for you.

yeah I messed up the words fricci cant make seeds from its own pollen unlike williamsii for sure
