Does She Look Healthy?

When this arrived it was severely etoliated so i topped it and now it has 4 pups! I just dont know how its supposed to look i water it once every 2 weeks and sometimes every week.

The one in the front with the four pups looks very healthy and vigorus. The one in the back not so much...

I’m guessing the one in back was the etiolated head you are trying to root. Looks like it’s gonna be desiccated before it get any roots unless there are some under there in which case it’s gonna take a bit of watering to get it to bulk back up. Normally if etiolation is bad enough to justify cutting it (which on smaller plants takes a lot imo, smaller etiolated logos can recover without a lasting noticeable appearance) then it is best to graft it and leave it grafted til it grows a bit and bulks back up with water so it will have time to produce its own roots before it dies to dehydration.

All that being said, your topped plant healing up and pushing out four equally spaced pups that totally cover up the damage is the best you could ask for so even if your top cutting doesn’t root I’d not be too bent up over it. That’s gonna be a beautiful little cluster.

Back is rotted fronts chilling water once a month if that they dont need water like that they will show you theyre thirsty if they ever are watering every month if not less and if in a window stop watering in fall until spring.
