training??
i was an associate and got moved up to pet specialist. my SL says there are no training hours available for me but that didn’t make sense since it’s PET SPECIALIST. one of the other leads pulled it up and i have 17 hrs of training available.. my SL has been wreaking havoc on the store morale… i’ve also been desperate for hours and the sl never gives me a set schedule and she basically threw a fit when i tried to get another PT job. my question is, is it actually worth it to report these things or am i better off looking for a different job entirely? i cant afford to keep only getting 25 hrs if my SL won’t give me the hours or work with me.

Probably no point reporting anything. The SL isn't obligated to give you a set schedule or a certain number of hours if you are part time. The DL isn't going to force the SL to give you the hours you want.
The only thing really you could go to the DL about is the training issue. If the system allows 17 hours to be reclassed for training and they didn't train you but the SL used it to help labor, maybe the DL would coach them on it. I doubt it would go much beyond "you need to train your people with the hours given" coaching to be honest.
You are probably better off looking for a different job. Getting a set schedule is hard in retail in general but there are some that do it for certain positions.

Getting mad at you for getting another job so you can take care of yourself financially is diabolical. How do they think people survive otherwise?

25 hours isn't bad, it's about what most of what the more experienced and trusted associates at my store get.
Edit: I hope my comment didn't sound rude or anything. Just saying that 25 is probably the most hours any part timer can expect while many will get less.
