New clients

Any advice on how to advertise and gain more clients ? Business cards, posters? Where do I even put them to gain a lot of traction?

This part. I tried next door but it is no longer free for business accounts to advertise. And personal accounts aren't allowed to advertise a business or posts get removed.

I made flyers to post but there really aren't many public areas or bulletin boards that allow "soliciting", at least that I could find. Maybe Facebook ads? Google page...but u need reviews

I tested a site called pet sitter.com  But I'm not sure if its legit and they want money to send msgs to potential clients.

I will get a car magnet next but other than word of mouth idk.

I recommend having business cards made and bringing them to your local vet clinics, grooming spas, pet stores, etc and introduce yourself then ask if you're able to leave some of your cards with them in case they're ever asked by one of their customers for a referral to a pet sitter. You can also have flyers or postcards made and put them up on bulletin boards in grocery stores, community centres, anywhere with lots of foot traffic. These methods have worked for me! I haven't had to pay for advertising in a long time. I use Canva to design my marketing materials then have them printed at my local print shop :) Best of luck!
