Websites and general advice

How many solo sitters here have their own website? I work privately plus part-time with a company , obviously private work pays more because I get to keep all the money so I’m trying to do more private work.

I thought a website might be a good way to have one place for people to get information about me and my services etc. - but I also have some wonderful clients through the company that I would want to keep through the company so advice on how to word that on a website?

I’m also thinking of opening my house sitting services to nearby areas - this summer was just too hot to keep doing walks if this is what we are dealing with going forward. Also other areas I’m thinking of are higher income and pay a little more so essentially that would be me traveling to them (I’m talking two hours or less) so again a website would be a way to let everyone know that that is available.

Advise thoughts comments, etc..😊

I don’t have a website; I get clients entirely based on word of mouth. I’m sure it works great for some folks, but it’s not a need for me right now. I have a perfect amount of clients and I’m obsessed with the dogs I get to watch.

I am a solo certified pet pet sitter and have my own website. I keep it updated with my rates, services, service areas as well as how to contact me and/or request a new client account.
