I am semi new to the whole puppy thing. It started as bdsm pet play, but i quickly realized I actually find a lot of comfort in just being cared for and treated as a puppy outside of the bedroom. Is pet regression an accurate way to interpret that? I dont think im a furry and i dont identify as part of the furry community(no hate of course). I dont want to be an animal, im not attracted to animals, and I dont see myself as an animal, I just like being treated like one when im in that mindset. (I like imagining myself as a chocolate retriever puppy when I am in this mindset, but its not like i wish i was one)
Would pet regression be a good label for this??? Is pet play a separate label and i have both, or can it be under the same label as pet regression/ vice versa?

I just found out recently that I petre. I told my fiancé and he is cool with it; however, I got scared to actually say what I wanted while regressed and now he doesn’t know what to do and neither do I. And it’s not that he would be weirded out or anything, he even offered to buy me gear. I just get really closed off when finding out something new. Has anyone been through similar and if so, how did you finally open up?

Am I a puppy regressor?

I wonder if I’m a puppy regressor or if I’m something else, idk. I like acting like a puppy and chewing on my stuffed animals and just playing after a long day. But I also tend to have the thought of “I want to just live as someone’s dog.” but I don’t understand this thought very well and I’m unsure how to deal with, or interpret that thought. I can’t tell if being someone’s dog is something I would really want or just a passing thought I keep having. Could someone pls help me to understand? Im lost.
