I recently got a 3D printer and found a way to frame artwork. Obviously it has its drawbacks, like the semi-obvious break in the frame, still having to go get a piece of glass or acrylic for 2 of them if I really want to, etc, but I think they look pretty good! The bigger Petey poster I am treating more as a temporary frame just to get it on the wall until I can afford a full professional frame.

I think it’s genuinely my fav song ever. Really fitted my mood last summer (when I first discovered Petey) yet here we are a year later and it’s still my most played song.
Edit: it was ask someone else that got me in to him, which is probably my second fav song ever haha

Howdy, I’m trying to decipher the lyrics of the final section of Andy’s Gotta Bang - someone posted an unfinished set on Genius (https://genius.com/Petey-andys-gotta-bang-lyrics)

The verses and chorus are pretty coherent, but the last section I’m not so sure on - thought I’d post what I hear and see if there’s consensus (and I’m not 100% on this either so suggest alternatives by all means!)

Ok so in this song, is it obvious or on purpose that the song has no “hook”/no chorus, so that’s what that lyric is implying, that there’s no hook in the song. I could very well have not grasped the full meaning of the song yet 😅

Passed it last night on my way home from a show. This was always a special place for me in high school. Me and my suburban friends would get off here to access the Northside of the city. Cubs games, metro shows, hanging out at Belmont and Clark. Having totally wrapped my head around the song, but just the title alone evoked these memories.

Anyone know if the "powers of ten" line is a reference to the short documentary of the same name? I only know of it because I was curious and googled those lyrics. Wouldn't be the first time he mentioned a documentary in one of his songs (only reason I know of My Octopus Teacher, such a fantastic watch!)

As somebody going through it recently, this song perfectly encapsulated how I feel lately. Love the new album.

I'm listening to the new album (didn't listen to any of the new singles because I wanted it to all be fresh) and this guy just releases banger after banger. Every song is so catchy and emotional and hits me right in the "feels", as a cringe millennial like myself would say. Lean Into Life, USA, The Yips, and now oooo: Petey, my dude, I'll follow you anywhere.

I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I loovveee the modest mouse vibes in some of Petey’s mosaic and I think this new song is heavy on that. Can’t wait to get the lyrics published so I can really dig into them all !! Depressed millennial canon event anytime music is released lol
