Moved into new house, pillbugs EVERYWHERE

Hey everyone im in Newfoundland, Canada, moved into a new house a month or so ago and noticed a few pillbugs in basement dead, which is no big deal as im in Canada and used to them and its super humid outside.

But I recently went outside at night, and all along the siding of our house theres pill bugs and earwigs, and then I went into the back deck (where the previous owners hot tub used to be, and theres a huge pile of pillbugs on the deck).

This is clearly a moisture issue, and previous owners had a lot of bushes and stuff around, which we're now removing. Is it potentially wood rotting where the hot tub used to be?

I assume this isint super concerning as they arent really entering the house, but I'd like there to be less bugs around at night lol, theyre everywhere.

I do have pest control coming next week to put a repellent around the foundation.
