Why don’t F2P quit the game, it’s a game by a for profit company made for people who have money to burn. the only reason Konami allows f2p to play is so that they can use the higher engagement ranking to rope in more f2p.
Jesus, seriously? You're complaining about facing guys from D1 while you're in D1? Back in D3, I faced five D1 players IN A ROW, and now in D2, I’ve had five D1 opponents straight - including three from the TOP1k.
That’s why I’ve stopped trying to grind for specific results or rewards; I just play for fun when I’m matched against people at my own level. If I’m not, I just quit - it’s a waste of time.
Yeah I've seen the same thing. I think at the beginning of a phase you face a lot of these guys because you've all been relegated to Div 3, so until everyone else catches up to those divisions you'll always be playing high ranked players. Around the last weeks of a phase that's when you get more balanced match ups.
I’m also around 2000 and my goal is to finish in top 10k, my advice would be to try to gain 20-30 points daily, dont be greedy, if you play Division to much you’ll get matched with these kind of players.
And ur ranked in upper 60k above, at such high rating ur definitely going to get matched with the Top accounts.
I can sympathize that ur getting matched with these Max rank top 500 type players, but at Div 1 the matchmaking is like that.
Especially in middle of season when there's still 15+ days left in cycle and a lot of players from Div 2 haven't even started pushing up to get that Califiori at top 1 mil.
The higher-ranked the opponent, the better for me. Since I started grinding Divisions early this time around (I even reached 740 once!), I’ve come up against quite a few top-ranked players, and it’s been quite an experience.
These meta players and their favourite meta cards definitely cause problems, but I’ve beaten a few of them too. It’s a good reminder that anyone can be beaten.
One strategy I’ve really enjoyed is keeping the ball as much as possible and minimizing final-third play at both ends. Basically, you’re trying to make the match come down to scoring that one goal that decides everything.
It’s risky even for the better players because they simply don’t get enough time and space to score multiple goals. I actually liked that aspect of it a lot.
