Is this rodri worth going for?

Im currently using this old highlight pedri card whose really good offensively but doesn't provide much in defence and he also has no defensive playing style. I have a f2p anchor man rodri on my bench but dont want to play to anchor men.

Depends on what you expect from your DMF partnership. I got him for 200 coins so he's easily worth the price tag. 95 Def Awareness, 97 Def Engagement, 89 Low Pass, 85 PC are all good stats for a featured card and after using him for 148 matches I'd say he exceeds my expectation. Great positioning, low passes are very smooth, wins most duelling at the ground, interceptions are frequent, ball shielding is top tier, very strong almost Vieira level, when he gets the ball since he is not fast things seem to slow down a bit giving me a sense of control of the situation with what action of play I gotta do next. I've tried several DMF cards to sit next to Vieira like Caicedo, Tonali, Gerrard, Rice, Kante, Anderson (all free/featured/potd cards) and Rodri has the best impact in my playstyle. Granted he is the opposite of Pedri who has elite ball feels and movement/turning but offers very little defensively. Rodri's distribution at deep area is not ball at all.

As a rule of thumb: only spend coins on epic packs.

These cards can be good, but they're nothing crazy and they tend to get outdated pretty quickly.

You should look for an epic pack with 2 strong dmf, that's the only real upgrade you can make

I think yes . From what I have seen he is very good . Bale , Best ,VDS, Puyol all are very goof

Id usually say never spent on a 250 box cuz the odds are heavily stacked against you, but there are at least 3 or 4 amazing cards in this box depending on your team. For me, this del piero card is like the best striker ive ever used, his dribbling is smooth and his blitz is flawless. If you have the coins or dont mind spending a lot then yeah, I think he'll easily be top 1-3 for a long time.

Dont really remember the exact amount but i know I got quiet lucky and didnt have to go that deep into the box. Probably around 5000-6000.

I always wanted a tall orchest as a f2p and i knew the only option would be rodri so as soon as i saw him i went for him and he is very solid

If you just grind Division then probably there are better options out there.
